In the Henon Area Preserving Map a set of initial conditions is iterated is stretched and then rotated at each iterative step. The behavior of the iteration within the domain -1 <x <1 and -1<y<1 domain is shown in the following quicktime movies. An analysis is written up in a pdf file--the figures are not included--.
